I'm glad I don't live close by cuz otherwise I'd be there ALL THE TIME!
Seem to be operated by a nice couple. Food is sooooo freaking good. Great ambience for solo diners as well. Portion is just right.
    Highly recommend #2 in spicy
    Cash only for under $15.

I found a place that's comparable to Han Bat Sul Lung Tang.
That's right. You did not read wrong... Their menu is a bit bigger than Han Bat Sul Lung Tang, but not too much bigger that it shines light away from their specialty (which are the soups). It's also not so big that you can't decide what you want to get. I like that they have spicy options for their soups. The soup to noodle & meat ratio is just right, and the non-spicy soups are Salt-It-Yourself. My BF got the spicy brisket SLT, and that came salted/spiced.

Moral of the story is: taste the soup in it's original flavor first! That way, you'll know and appreciate the original flavors of the bone broths, and you won't make the mistake of over salting the precious broth.

Additional Note: They have a small lot of front of their restaurant too! BIG BIG WIN for a restaurant in KTOWN.

I came here with a friend for dinner with a friend during a cold day and came here after seeing their hot soup with meat fish.

    And here is the breakdown:

    Food:

I ordered number 12 with brisket and overall it was very light and clean.

This place charges for rice. This place is a rip off. They give really small portions. I rather go to Ham Bat sulong tang. By the time you pay tip and rice, your paying $20 for soup. Not worth it.

Bring on the hangovers because there is no fear of them with Shin Chon Seolnongtang! My go-to spot to cure hangovers, their hearty Korean soups of variations are delicious.

These ultimate Korean comfort food also come with super-friendly and efficient service. You can say there is no end to comfort at this hole-in-the-wall spot!
